Since 2018, the Artist-First Community on WhatsApp has grown into a nationwide movement. What began as a spark quickly evolved into a creative ecosystem where art teachers from schools across India connected, shared classroom work, debated ideas, and spotlighted opportunities for young creators.

The community placed the Art teacher at the center—as leader, culture-builder, and catalyst for change. INKed's belief was clear: when teachers grow, students transform; when teachers unite, a generation awakens.

Over the years, the Artist-First Community has hosted exhibitions, collaborative showcases, and training programs that empowered educators to expand their practice. Looking ahead, more events, exhibitions, and structured training initiatives are planned, ensuring the movement continues to thrive.

Equally important is the recognition that art education must evolve with the times. The community has begun embracing the digital and AI space, exploring how new technologies can enrich creativity, amplify communication, and redefine the role of art in modern education.
